What is a civic integration programme?
Feeling at home
During the social orientation classes, you will meet other newcomers who speak your language and have the same questions.
During this course you will learn about work, housing, education, healthcare and many more things. The teacher will speak your language or another language you understand.
Learning Dutch
Are you over 15 years of age and looking for a Dutch language training course?
We are happy to help!
We do not do any teaching ourselves. But, together with you, we set out to find the right training course and the school best suited to you.
Meeting new people
Together with you, we will look at how you can develop a network in your area. Maybe you want to go out with a buddy, take up a new hobby or help out in an organisation?
Finding a job
Are you aged between 18 and 65 and you don’t have a job yet? We will refer you to the Public Employment Service of Flanders - VDAB (or Actiris in Brussels). They will help you to find a job.

Note:
- If you fail the test and need to repeat it, you will have to pay for it again.
- You will have to buy books if you want to attend the Dutch classes. The books’ prices vary from school to school.
